The Getaway USA offer provides hotel accommodations for two adults for three days and two nights at select hotels throughout the United States.

Step 1 – Activate Your Offer
Activation Fee: $50.00
Please review the terms and conditions of this offer on this page. Complete the Registration Activation Form and send it to the address below with a $50 activation fee in the form of a check or money order. Please ensure payments are made payable to Getaway USA. The Getaway USA Activation Form must be mailed and postmarked within 30 days of the issue date for the offer to be valid. The activation fee is refundable on request, less a $15 processing fee.

Step 2 - Be on the Lookout for your Welcome Aboard Email
Once we receive your Registration Activation Form and $50 activation fee, you will receive a Welcome Aboard email from the Getaway USA team. This email provides the activation number and the activation date for your offer. The offer expires exactly one year from the activation date. Please allow 2 weeks from your mailing date to receive this email. 

Step 3 - Book Your Travel
Included in your Welcome Aboard email is the Getaway Reservation Desk telephone number. Before calling, please be sure to have a travel date in mind that provides at least 30-day advance notice and is not more than 60 days in advance. Peak travel seasons should be avoided. Major U.S. federal holidays and the days before and after are not available. Refund requests must be made in writing at any time prior to the expiration date, before confirming reservations or within 30 days of completion of travel.  The refund request should be mailed to Getaway USA Refunds, 13014 N Dale Mabry Hwy #2, Tampa, FL 33618. Alternatively, your refund request may be emailed to getawayrefunds@travelpromotionsfaq.com.  Refunds will be mailed approximately three to four weeks after the request is received. 

This offer is valid for two adults and up to two children.  Hotels offered are similar to Holiday Inn and Choice brand hotels and will vary based on promotional allotment. The offer is for three day and two nights, but additional nights may be added during the reservation process for a fee, depending on availability. An additional night is approximately $99. although these rates will vary based on destination, date and demand. Please remember the offer is for room rate only. Taxes, resort fees and incidentals, if applicable, are the responsibility of the traveler. The taxes will vary according to your destination--but usually run 10% to 16% of the room rate.


Arrival date must be a minimum of 30 (we strongly suggest at least 45) and a maximum of 60 days in advance. The more advance time you provide, the better the hotel availability. There may be certain times that no hotels are available at your destination and/or on your desired dates of travel. We suggest you provide at least 2 choices of dates and destinations.

FAQs
Q: What should I do after receiving the Getaway USA Activation Form?
A: Activate your offer by sending in your Getaway USA Activation Form and your $50 activation fee to Getaway USA mailing address in Tampa, FL. Within approximately two weeks, you will then receive a Welcome Aboard email with instructions on how to book your Getaway hotel stay. This email will contain your activation number and activation date. Please be sure to check your junk/spam email for the Welcome Aboard email when looking for it.

Q: Can I bring children?
A: Yes, but the hotel room will accommodate 2 adults and 2 children only.

Q: What do I have to pay?
A: You must pay the activation fee and hotel taxes. Parking fees, resort fees and your own incidentals, if applicable, are your responsibility and must be paid at the hotel front desk.

Q: How much are the taxes?
A: The taxes will vary according to your destination, but are typically 10% to 16% of the retail room rate.

Q: What hotel is it?
A: We typically source from Holiday Inn hotels or the Choice Hotels through our promotional availability, but any hotel maintaining at least 3 stars on TripAdvisor.com may be offered. Please research the property at the time of confirmation so you can verify that it meets your preferences. 

Q: Is airfare included?
A: No, you have to provide your own transportation to the selected destination.

Q: Can I stay extra nights?
A: You can and that is approximately $99 a night. Please let your booking agent know when you place your travel request. Once availability is confirmed, they will provide you with an exact rate.

Q: What is the $50 for?
A: Your deposit goes to secure hotel inventory so that we can offer it at a discounted rate.

Q: When will I get the refundable portion of my activation fee back?
A: You must request your refund in writing at any time prior to the expiration date, before confirming reservations or within 30 days of completion of travel. The offer is no longer valid once the refund is issued. The refund request should be mailed to: Getaway USA Refunds, 13014 N Dale Mabry Hwy #2, Tampa, FL 33618. Alternatively, your refund request may be emailed to: getawayrefunds@travelpromotionsfaq.com. Refund checks will be emailed approximately 3 to 4 weeks after the request is received. Please note, promotional reservation policies and procedures must be met. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of the refund.


Q: How long do I have to use it?
A: You have a year to use it from the date on the activation letter you will be receiving from us.

Q: What do I do if I don't know my dates or destination?
A: Simply send in your Registration Activation Form with your deposit.  When you are ready to reserve your hotel stay, just give us a minimum of 30 days before you want to travel.


Q: Where are the hotels located in relation to the destinations offered?

A: The hotels are typically located in the city you choose or in the surrounding area.  We cannot guarantee that the hotels are in city centers. Please note these destinations are subject to change and may not be available depending on the season, our available promotional inventory and/or special events occurring at that destination.

Terms and Conditions:

1. This promotional offer requires payment of taxes/fees and should not be considered free travel. Activation Form must be mailed to: Getaway USA, 13014 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, #2 Tampa, FL 33618, along with your $50 (U.S.) activation fee. Activation Form must be received by the Getaway USA Travel Service Center within 30 days of the issue date. Upon receipt of your Activation Form and payment, an email will be sent to you providing information about booking procedures and a contact telephone number.

 

2. This offer provides accommodations for two adults, at least one must be gainfully employed and at least 21 years of age, and up to two children under the age of 16, staying in the same room. If married or cohabitating, you must travel together. Driver’s license required for verification of age and major credit card required as a matter of hotel policy – no debit cards. Offer is limited to U.S. Citizens only. Arrival date must be a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 60 days from receipt of your request.

 

3. When your reservations are confirmed, you will be emailed a confirmation with your directions and check-in times. This written confirmation and two forms of ID (driver’s license and major credit card) must be presented upon check-in.

 

4. This offer is valid for one (1) year from activation date and travel must be completed by that time. Refunds may be requested within 14 days of completion of travel or if you choose not to travel, any time prior to expiration date. Please mail refund requests to: Getaway - Refunds 13014 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. #2,Tampa FL 33618. Alternatively, you may email your refund request to: refunds@travelpromotionsfaq.com. Activation fee is refundable minus a $15 processing fee. Refunds will be mailed approximately 30-45 days after request is received.

 

5. All reservations are subject to the fulfillment company’s promotional inventory and are subject to change. Availability is limited during peak season, holidays and weekends. Surcharges may apply during these times and in some locations. Getaway USA also reserves the right to change destinations at any time. Some locations may require you to purchase a third night.

 

6. This offer is for hotel accommodations only and does not include parking, transportation, room taxes, surcharges, meals and/or other hotel incidentals, etc. Sorry, no pets.

 

7. You will be offered exciting vacation opportunities in the hopes you will vacation with the Host Resort in the future.

 

8. All reservation policies and procedures must be met, including but not limited to: adhering to all travel date/destination restrictions, completion of all reservation documents and forms, payment of all taxes and fees, etc. Failure to comply may void the offer.

 

9. Notice of cancellation or changes to a confirmed reservation must be received at least 10 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Failure to cancel or reschedule at least 10 days prior to arrival or hotel ‘no shows’, will result in a forfeiture of the refundable portion of your activation fee. In some cases, hotels will charge a cancellation fee if the terms of agreement are not met. All travelers are required to abide by the cancellation and refund policies as outlined by the specific hotel and/or promotional supplier.

 

10. An email account or access to an email account is a requirement to use this program. Important and time sensitive communications such as travel quotes and payment authorization will need to be sent electronically through email. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this requirement. Upon receipt and processing of your Registration Activation Form/payment, a Welcome Aboard email will be sent to you containing instructions on how to book your travel. Please be sure to check your junk or spam folders. It is your responsibility to contact us if you do not receive this Welcome Aboard email. Unfortunately, an offer cannot be extended for non-receipt of this email.

 

11. Travel insurance is recommended. If you choose to decline this valuable protection, you are assuming any financial loss associated with your travel arrangements. Travel Insurance is offered by Travel Service Center. It is important that you do not make any other travel arrangements until you have received a confirmation of your reservation from Travel Service Center.

 

12. Only one offer per individual/household may be used in a 12-month period. This offer is not valid for groups and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional travel package or discount.

 

13. This offer is void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. This promotional offer cannot be exchanged for cash or monetary consideration, resold and cannot be reproduced. This promotional offer is considered void if bartered at any time or sold to the end user or if not paid by the primary issuing merchant or distributor.

 

14. By participating in this vacation offer the end user agrees that the Getaway USA Travel Service Center will not be held liable for any actual or potential losses, including without limitation, compensation or consequential damages, either in contract or in tort, by either persons or property, arising out of this offer or in connection therewith or by misrepresentation by a third party.

 

15. Getaway USA is not to be held responsible for any act of God, and/or any other circumstances beyond its control causing your travel to become unavailable.

 

16. Getaway USA reserves the right to cancel this offer at any time or change these terms and conditions without notice. These terms and conditions cannot be changed or altered by any statement, merchant, or representative of any unauthorized person(s). No other representations, oral or otherwise, are valid in conjunction with this offer. All terms of this offer must be met, or the offer will be voided. Activation Form expires two years from revision date located in bottom left corner of form.  Customer service is only available in English.

Governing Law. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without reference to conflicts of laws or choice of law rules. All legal actions relating to this Agreement shall be brought in the state or federal courts located within Hillsborough County, Florida. These offers are fulfilled by the Travel Service Center.
